    So it finally went public, i work for Cadence and I'm directly involved in the following:

    Yes, that's 10nm tech. I delivered a transmitter (to the transceiver level). Crazy small shit. We could place 3300 minimum size transistors side by side in a human hair.

    10nm finfet is a very advanced design node in semiconductor industry. Basically transistors are really really really really small and not made the conventional way - the use of 'fins' has helped create smaller devices.
    It's really cool because there are maybe a handful of companies on the planet that can use this in their products (I won't name names, but just think huuuuuuuge tech companies), and such products wouldn't be on the market for another couple of years I'm guessing.
